Each time the core passes through the pin, the rubber is split and shared by a pair of pins, each time the screw rotates, which strengthens the kneading and accelerates the rubber in the thread groove. Therefore, high-quality mixing, kneading, and plasticizing compounds can be obtained.
Due to the insertion of the pins, the ability to mix, knead and plasticize is enhanced. Under the same extrusion conditions, the working length of the screw can be shortened by half compared with the ordinary cold feed extruder, and the time spent in the barrel is greatly shortened. Almost all extruders that produce rubber materials use pin-type cold-feed rubber extruders. In the production of bias tires, the use of pin-type cold-feed extruder instead of hot-feed extruder has become a general trend in recent years and has developed rapidly, such as tread rubber extrusion, various apex, various adhesives, etc. . Many production plants use extrusion pin cold feed rubber extruders. In the production of hoses, the needle-type cold feed rubber extruder is also used for internal and external rubber extrusion.
